Scope and eligibility

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to text submitted for speech generation, reference voices, generated audio, Saved Voices, and related use of IndexTTS Online. The hosted voice-generation service is for users aged 18 or older.

IndexTTS Online provides AI-generated text-to-speech and voice-cloning functionality. Generated speech is synthetic audio and must not be represented deceptively as authentic speech by a real person.

You may upload, record, save, clone, or use a reference voice only if you own the necessary rights or have the voice owner's permission or another lawful basis to use it. Unauthorized or deceptive impersonation is prohibited.

Content standards and prohibited categories

IndexTTS Online prohibits generating or using the service for each of the following categories:

Pornography / NSFW — pornography, explicit sexual content, sexualized nudity, sexual exploitation, or non-consensual sexual content.
Violence / gore — graphic gore, credible violent threats, or content that promotes, celebrates, or facilitates serious violence.
Hate speech — content that attacks, dehumanizes, threatens, or promotes hatred against protected groups or people based on protected characteristics.
Child-unsafe content / CSAM — child sexual abuse material, sexual content involving minors, sexualization or exploitation of minors, or instructions that facilitate such abuse. Zero tolerance.
Deepfakes / impersonation — deceptive or unauthorized impersonation of real people, including cloned voices used for fraud, false endorsements, harassment, political deception, or misleading attribution.
Copyright / trademark infringement — content or voice use that infringes copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, contractual, or other third-party rights.

The following are also prohibited: fraud and scams; phishing or deceptive commercial messages; harassment, stalking, extortion, or threats; terrorism, violent extremism, or mass-violence promotion; instructions for weapons of mass destruction; incitement of genocide or ethnic hatred; non-consensual sexual deepfakes; bulk spam; attempts to bypass safety controls; and other unlawful use.

Content moderation

IndexTTS Online currently uses Waffo Prompt Sift as the automated safety scanner for synthesis text. Before a generation request is sent to the voice-generation model, the exact text to be synthesized is scanned. Requests that are blocked or require safety review do not proceed to generation.

For generated speech, the service performs a second Prompt Sift release check on the exact text used for synthesis before the resulting audio is made available. Because this is a text-to-speech service, the semantic content of the generated speech is the synthesis text submitted for generation.

Safety decisions are logged with limited operational information needed for review and enforcement. The service does not operate a public gallery or public feed of user-generated audio.

Reporting prohibited content or abuse

Report suspected violations, unauthorized voice cloning, impersonation, or other abuse to support@indextts.online.

When possible, include the generation ID, a short description of the issue, relevant evidence, and your relationship to the affected voice or rights holder. Reports are reviewed manually by the operator of IndexTTS Online. We may request additional information when needed to assess a report.

Enforcement

Depending on the nature and severity of a violation, IndexTTS Online may block a generation request, prevent release of generated audio, remove stored generated audio where applicable, restrict anonymous access, suspend or terminate a signed-in account, or take other action required by law.

Critical child-safety, terrorism, or other criminal abuse may be preserved or reported when required by applicable law. We do not promise a fixed response time or a dedicated 24/7 safety team.

Appeals

If you believe a safety decision or account restriction was made in error, contact support@indextts.online with the relevant generation or account details and the reason for your appeal. Appeals are reviewed manually.

Changes and contact

We may update this Policy as the product, safety controls, or legal requirements change. For policy questions or abuse reports, contact support@indextts.online.
